Well, I did modify and use those vegetable crates that Save a lot used to get their veggies in once but they were really too flimsy even after modifying and reinforcing so I didn't use those anymore. I like the crates cause it gives the windowboxes character. -

I make Christmas window boxes out of old RC and Coca Cola crates. Do the inside like you are looking in someones window into their LR where the christams tree is. Hot glue wrapping paper for the wallpaper, lights in the tree and all around the outside of the box and hot glue curtains on the...
