Thanks for the ideas and the link. Still want to ride to petsmart to check them out. I may be able to look at one enough that I can make Jax a custom one at home. Don't want to order online. I need an excuse to go to the city.

But, um, Jax is going to be a dragon for Halloween, if I can find the right pattern. Anyone know where to find good patterns for dog costumes? All the ones I saw on Simplicity's site were for froo-froo dogs.
