Have you tried Vetericyn? The stuff is amazing! We use it when we do bumblefoot surgery & we have never had an infection. We even used it on our black lab. He had a cyst on his side that ruptured, we sprayed it with Vetericyn several times a day, we did not bandage it. We couldn't afford to to...

I just saw one of our chickens lay an egg the other day, it was my first time & I was so excited! My hubby & sons had all witnessed it months ago, but not me. It was the coolest thing! Does that make me a chicken nerd???

Also check on Craigslist for your area under farm & garden, I've seen postings on there for farm help. What about your local farm stores like tractor supply or Rural King maybe there are postings there or you could put up your own posting. Best of luck to you! Michele

Hey! It's Michele, hope you are doing well! I just hatched out 2 EE chicks. The mothers were a year old & a year & a half old. The father of both was my EE rooster who was only 16+/- weeks old when he fertilized them. So it is possible. Good luck with your little cuties!

Dealing with a 'mishap' here has made everyone grumpy. Someone left the freezer door open in the garage, everything melted. Including the almost 20 meat birds we just had processed, 5 quarts of tomato sauce, ALL the green beans we grew, harvested, processed and froze (up till midnight doing...
