At Cales north every 1st and 3rd Saturday there is a chicken swap. It's located on why 43 north between picayune and Carriere Ms. About 8 miles from picayune. Always have lots of chickens turkeys,quails several different kinds of birds.

Cackle hatchery is usually good! Shouldnt have any problems, just be ready to give them chick starter and electrolytes and vitamins ! Good luck!

I had two bantam hens go broody at same time so they both set on nest together with total of 13 eggs, 10 bantam eggs and I snuck in 3 large eyes 1 white leghorn and 2 kooka marans. One maran didn't make it but leghorn and other maran are doing great with there surrogate mothers. Hoping I have...

Sweet pea I may know someone with guinnia eggs or birds, let me check I have two hens setting on 13 eggs right now, and lady I know is raising baby chicks to sell after they get up to 2 months or so old.

Me too! Have 12 hens got 9 eggs today, so I'm proud of my girls! especially with all the rain!

You can't go wrong with the buff orpingtons, I love mine! Black astrolorps are good large brown laying hens too! Actually they are supposed to be the very best layers! I only have 3 of them and want more, cookoo marans are good too!, I have 3 of those, they lay a very dark brown egg! Good luck...
