Well, It can't be any worse than the surprisingly feather legged "Pure German Strain NHR". Half of these have feathered shanks. Auto cull pile. Payed a lot for these too.

Alright, Picture time!! Light line chicks This pic is pretty accurate as to their real life color... Biggest Light Line next to my smallest Lay Line birds 4 of my Lay Gang Bigger, wider Lay egg next to smaller, narrower Light egg. I wonder if these "Light Line" were pullet eggs?

Buckeyes hatching all over the place! I have 4 out from Mr. Lay and 2 out from another line. The Lay biddies seem so much darker than the other line, I don't think I'll be needing to band them to be telling the difference. Which is better, darker or lighter chicks? Will post pictures when I can...
