    I have white barred and columbian the barred an whites are very docile i can go in anytime and pick them up my columbians are more nervous but they are young and come from another breeder so im hoping eventually they will be calm not sure about the other varietys

    My father used to have alot of poultry but sold out about 6 years ago i managed to get his same line of whites back the hens were decent but roos were a bit under sized and ruff looking im not sure where my dad got the original line from i was too young to remember

    6-8 months is when we cull the ones we dont want in breeding pens they can very in weights from 5-8 pounds a mature bird will weigh more ive seen a mature white rock rooster weigh in as high as 13 pounds we just got this breed back again the hens are nice but roosters could be bigger

    my columbian rocks there starting to settle in but they are more nervous then my barred and white rocks they are young i hope they settle down

    No i dont do anything special to fatten them up they seem to get quite big on their own they are a real great dual purpose breed
