Chickie'sMoma :
yeah, i remember.
boy! you had a black koi! i was told by my local pet store that they are not sought after and don't make it to the pet stores often. i was finally able to get him to find one from his supplier and it ended up getting SVC from an infected fish i bought off...
Chickie'sMoma :

This isn't going to work, just FYI.
I totally agree, and that is why I originally asked the question.
Actually, i have had goldfish in with cichlids, parrot fish, all kinds of fish. it worked fine for me.
I cant post any pics of my red betta, he died this morning, dont know why, but i am getting a new one tomorow.
But here is a fish for ya. This is a dragon fish.

Where are they listed at? i would red too.
i have not seen any all black or all red.
I would not breed them, just to have a look at and show off.
Just like chickens?
LOL, No you can add in the breeding on the chickens, and a MAJOR showoff on them.

alright now i want to go get some.
I would suggest NOT getting some and leaving it to the breeders who know what they are doing. It is very difficult breeding the black ones because of the lethal gene.
Pstttt i could get one black male.

Really? Solid blacks? They're hard to find, let alone breed. The black pigment is also connected with a lethal gene that will kill most of the offspring. It's hard trying to get bettas with all black bodies and fins.
alright now i want to go get some.
