Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

Alot of it is junk in my opinion, but the trade is a huge deal for people in this area. I just didnt find anything worthy of buying becides the chickens so thats how id describe it. Some animals are in nasty cages with dirty water, but some look like they are well cared for so I figured it would...

Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

Ive never had birds shipped to me before but I was planning on getting more serama that way so id be ok with it. What would your concerns be with buying from the trade? My only worry would be that they arent healthy or that they arent pure OEGB. Theres is the southern ohio poultry show on...

Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

I went to a trade/swap(pretty much a big flea market full of junk that nobody wants, lol) on sunday, most of the chickens I saw were OEGB. I used to have a red pyle pair and had a silver duckwing pullet last year who was killed by her cage mates and I currently have a bb red hen. Seeing all the...

My dad called me thinking he had rescued some serama and wanted me to check them out(my dad is not a chicken person lol just has layers and sees my bantams). So we went and I instantly thought 2 of the 3 chicks where OEGB. Im pretty sure one is a bb red and the other is possibly and silver...

Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

Lets see if you all can help me out! These guys were about a week old when we got them a month ago. I am having a hard time figuring out if they are oegb or something else? Im also not sure if they are bb reds since i have no idea what a bbred chick looks like so color opinions would be great...

Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

LOL, he might think that. Once we catch him hes a very sweet loving roo. So it must be her or him saying "stay out of my house"

Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

I have a pair of red pyles. The roo is evil, he attacks me and my sister almost everytime we put our hands in the cage. This is the best pic i have of them uploaded right now, its from the day we got em before we had cages built and had to keep them inside. Adding a better pic.
