Here is a pic of my broody. I was told she is a Wheaten. She is sitting on some Fawn duckwing and LF Golden Phoenix eggs for me. Due in a week. Can't wait. I already hatched out 8 from her less than a week ago. She was originally with some Mille Fleur colored Roosters.

Yes, I'd say that your little man needs to be older. I have a Fawn Duckwing. He is between 6 and 8 months old. He just now got it right and I have fertilized eggs. Give him a little longer.

My Ginger Reds hatched last night! 100% hatch! They are cute little buggers. I don't think all of them will be Gingers though. The hen was in a pen with other Cocks before I got her. She laid the day I brought her home, so we'll see what they turn out to be. I'll have to ask the guy what colors...
