Carmel (Coberdor) sold me eggs last yeat and to date they are the BEST Araucana in my flock. I love them! One hen is very heavily tufted and I will be entering her in a show, just for fun, in the spring. Thanks again Carmel!

So... I had an Araucana girl lay eggs daily for maybe 1 month when she first laid at about 20 weeks, then go broody for a month and a half. That was about 3 weeks ago. She hasn't laid since. When can I expect her to lay again?

Although that is one distinction between Collonca and Araucana, I guess - the Collonca have little sexual characteristic differences, but my Araucana males definately have bigger combs.

Not all traits are simple follow Mendelian genetics with complete dominance/recessiveness so maybe the legs are inherited by some other genetic process, ie incomplete dominance, codominance, or multiple alleles, etc?
