OK after rereading the discussion we had before I admit I am more confused. What color babies are you getting from Buddy? I so would love to have Dun in my flock.

So, what color is the hen your using? The last one looks like it may have dun. Did you check out the link? It mentions that Dun popped up in Araucanas in America.

I raise most of my cockerels together. Fighting usually is not a problem until they get hormonal. For me that is around eight months or so. Araucana roosters should get along fine. I have two who take care of my hens together. It all depends on the roosters individual personality. I think...

Araucanas are not for everyone. I adore mine. They may be frustrating , but nothing is more exciting than hatching a rumpless double tufted bird. This is my first year hatching from my own birds. Looks like I only hatched one tufted chick. I have eggs under broodies so I may get some more...

Sorry to tell you. That is not an Araucana. Looks like an EE. Not for sure yet, but I would guess a cockerel. The beard and leg color say EE.

Not sure about the colors there. Beautiful little bunch of birds! The are going to be lovely. The silver one may be a hen. I had one colored similar to that. I hope one of the experts helps you out.

Anniebee, you might check ot this thread. It is no longer active, but it gives you great info. One of my favorites.

Hard to tell if she is an Aruacana. Should be rump less,(no tail) but they can have tails. If it is an Araucana than it is just not up to standard. No showing. Very interesting color.
