Where are you located? I'm needing to replace my whole flock; just not sure when. I woke up yesterday morning to find the neighbor dog jumped our fence and broke into our coops. I only have 1 of my girls left of 16 (and nursing her back to health). Not sure yet if I will get more babies now or...

No; just started my first flock earlier this year. Bought some Silkies to add a few to my flock and not interested in keeping all of them. Will raise them if I can't find a home for them. Maybe ready to process by this time next year.

Agreed. It did absorb a ton of moisture, I wasn't as worried about the small pieces, since I refreshed the whole pan about every 3 days and sifted almost daily.

Ok...update time..... I tried the PDZ for a good week now. Cleaned the coop a few times and applied it a couple different ways. It isn't bad, though it is still pretty gross. I don't mind cleaning it, though I don't think it does what it is advertised to do unless used in the larger coops in...
