Dark Cornish have some Aseel genes in them and are rather impressive. They should be laying eggs for hatching in a couple of months. I'm anxious to add to that flock. I've only got 8 pullets and 2 Roos so that is 2 pens that the offspring will be bread to each other.
No but wish I did. I'm down sizing my layers and planning for smaller pens with Aseels, Liege, and Bruges. If possible I'd like to show if I can meet the SOP with any of them. BTW I'm way down south near the FL line.
That one is a white rock that I rehomed for a lady in MS. My wife and I can't travel that far any more. We struggle getting to Montgomery and back now.
That is so sad. I'm near the FL line or I would give you a Delaware rooster that is near white. Delawares have some black markings on their necks and tail feathers. They will be a year old Sept 13th.
Wish I had known more as we went to Montgomery on Wed. No chance now of another day trip out until later in the week coming up. Keep them posted and if no one picks them up we may find a way to drive up and pick them up. I could breed them to some of my RIR pullets.
I am 120 miles south of you near Opp, AL. 2 hours and 5 minutes according to google. Maybe someone north of Montgomery will reply. l wouldn't mind one but with so much to get done here I just don't have time to make a trip like that now.
