I have no idea! But they're huge compared to my baby lavender orpingtons that hatched Thursday! Thankfully they're very gentle.

Welcome! I don't have a good tractor supply story either! I got 6 buff orpington chicks last year, 5 were roos! I ended up giving 3 away. I think a racoon got the other two. They were beautiful birds. But the odds were against us. If you go that route maybe get pullets and save yourself some...

I'm trying! It would be easier to put them outside if I hadn't seen what a racoon did to my son's flock last summer. Idk if you've ever experienced that before, but we found out that they don't kill just because they're hungry. :/ and I wasn't really sure how sturdy their little prefab coop...
