    ALABAMA!!

I am seriously thinking I'm going to have to process my roosters too. I'm keeping them separate right now, but there's not enough hens for them all. So now they're harassing my hens and hurting my beautiful lavender English orpington guy who is the only one I want to use for breeding The other...

You mean like, wolf worms? I've pulled a couple out of kittens. Just awful! We have alot of squirrels here, but I can deal with them. It's the dang foxes killing my hens that I'd like to take a rifle to!!

    ALABAMA!!

I live down the mountain from you, in Laceys Spring! I am currently trying to reconfigure my flock, as I've lost three of my hens to a fox. Now there are too many roosters and yesterday someone drew blood on the only one I want to keep. Anybody nearby need a very pretty lavender orpington roo? I...

    ALABAMA!!

I know someone who might have some eggs. In Grant. Idk if you'd want an older hen. I'm not sure if he sells those or not. Want me to ask him? He has very pretty Mille fleur d'uccles. I'd offer to hatch you some but my incubator is tied up till the first week of April.

    ALABAMA!!

Welcome! I don't have a good tractor supply story either! I got 6 buff orpington chicks last year, 5 were roos! I ended up giving 3 away. I think a racoon got the other two. They were beautiful birds. But the odds were against us. If you go that route maybe get pullets and save yourself some...

    ALABAMA!!

I haven't seen any snakes yet, but we have a couple cats roaming around. Whether that's the reason why or not, I don't know.

    ALABAMA!!

I'm trying! It would be easier to put them outside if I hadn't seen what a racoon did to my son's flock last summer. Idk if you've ever experienced that before, but we found out that they don't kill just because they're hungry. :/ and I wasn't really sure how sturdy their little prefab coop...

    ALABAMA!!

Every time I get ready to set them up in their coop, here comes a severe weather warning! I'm just not that brave yet! But this is supposed to be our last cold weekend. *fingers crossed* The ducks are adorable!
