I never let any shipped eggs sit, but especially in summer when temps are high. In winter they rest long enough to come to room temp, then into the bator for 24 hours sitting still, then turner flipped on.
She looks very similar in size to our Khaki girls too. Love them for their egg laying. Your calls are very pretty, and will be fun to see them after the next molt.
aoxa they are very cute. Remember calls come in various sizes from the teeny tiny to large "sport" pet type. Third picture down, the one standing outside the pool is that a Khaki?
Aoxa, Your Khaki looks about the same size as our flock. If she is a new layer the egg will increase some with time.
Dont judge the ducklings until they have fully feathered out, once they feather you will get a good idea of body condition and can see if there is any funky feathering. Until...

Those are just cement mixing pans for the pools, they push up easily allowing the water to dump out. We do ours every other day, takes 15...
Great looking breeding pen, similar to how ours are set up. To save the upper lip of the pans when you dump the pools, push them up from underneath. be sure to paint/stain/seal all the wood too so it holds up for you.
We have a community flight pen that they get to be crazy in that has a pool and two black tubs in it. We are seeding and landscaping it, so not everyone is able to be in it right now. Thanks for tip on the foam flooring. SAMs club sellsnit and we have a bunch stored. Will be putting it to use...

The pools are cement mixing tubs from HD or Lowes, pens are 34" wide by 69" long and aprox 4-5 foot high. Hope this helps
