    Several hatcheries offer MT Java's, I think Sand Hill offers mottleds. If I recall correctly the Auburn color came out of a flock of blacks that Garfield Farms acquired. They are very pretty, and not as common as the mottled.

    suncatcher...   LOL  I am not even sure it is a Auburn Java at this point, maybe be just a sport of a black Java with red hackles!..  But I am hopeful.. Maybe it is split for Auburn?? Is there such a thing?

    Wonderful! Looking forward to pictures! I love the mottled ones best, blacks are pretty to, but like the colorful mottleds. I hope more people get into breeding them!
