I'm no expert, but this happened to us, got 8 "girls", as they grew, 2 of them grew combs & waddles faster & coloring came in rather quick also. As I read on differences of male & females of the breeds I got (Black Australorps & Barred Rocks). As they grew, it all proved that they were roos...- Marci C
