    It's mostly her flight feathers and her silkie parts that are lighter shade. Here's another photo.

    I got this girl today from a breeder nearby. I was told she's a lavender and will be lighter once her adult feathers come in. She's between 8-10 weeks. What do you think? Most chicks and pullets I see tend to darken not lighten. But I'm very new to chickens
