My silkie laid her first egg with us after three weeks of being with me :) I'm so happy! It's the smaller white egg :) And this is her and my sweet girl Beans running the yard together. They both follow me where ever I go- ikkin

I was sold a supposedly one year old silkie hen. Was told she had been laying awhile and that she had just finished setting. Now reading more and that roosters and hens can be similar, I'm just worried that she's not a she. No crowing had occurred, but she's not even half the size of my red sex...- ikkin

I I got her from a lady that was trying to get rid of her all her chickens. I had been looking for a silkie hen for awhile. I don't really care about show, but she's kinda hot mess right now.
