I have a flock of 20 Buff Orpingtons and Silver laced wyandottes. They have been laying eggs for about 3 weeks now. Today I gathered 3 eggs that had blood on them. I inspected several of the chickens, and some of them had a little blood on thier vents. Is this normal for when they start laying...
