Anyone setting eggs tomorrow (13th March, EDD Apr 3rd)

Well, my hatch is done! Out of 89 eggs (finally counted) I got 40 healthy chicks, 4 that have died, and 2 are not doing well. They were the last to hatch, I think they were too weak to make it out of their eggs. One is small and kind of strange looking; I think it may have deformed hips. But...

Anyone setting eggs tomorrow (13th March, EDD Apr 3rd)

Though reports are mixed, I've heard some say that bantams sometimes hatch ahead of standards. As for me, I have over 30. A couple had been in there about 36 hours, so I gritted my teeth, opened the incubator and scooted out as many as I could as fast as possible. The temp and humidity have...

Anyone setting eggs tomorrow (13th March, EDD Apr 3rd)

Hi! I set a bunch of them last night, theoretically due April 1st, but the last time they hatched over a course of three days, so I know what chicks think of what they're "supposed" to do! I have a big cabinet incubator, and I've found that it holds its temp better when it's full, so I put a...
