Tractor Supply Employee Knowledge About Chicks

I've never had a problem with the quality of their chicks. I even bought a sickly looking one back in March when I bought 11 Speckled Sussex and it is fine. I've never lost a chick from TSC. I guess the difference is, when they pick them out of the bin you usually don't get sick or dying chicks...

Tractor Supply Employee Knowledge About Chicks

People are getting a little too out of hand on this thread. I like TSC, don't get me wrong. I like all their chicken, horse, and dog stuff plus their clothes and other odd end things I may buy. But there is something wrong that when somebody calls with a question they can't provide a better...

2X. Those parents with their monsters don't care. They probably dislike animals. As an animal lover, its hard for me to be around people who hate animals and don't care about their well-being.

Tractor Supply Employee Knowledge About Chicks

Your lucky to have such knowledgeable employee at your TSC about chickens. I'm sure most of the employees at ours are fairly knowledgeable about things that are always in their store, but I can't say the same about seasonal chicks. I called TSC the other night to see if they had chicks, and they did but when I asked them what they had again they said something that doesn't make since. "Production-Red straight-run" Oh well that wasn't what I was interested in getting...

Tractor Supply Employee Knowledge About Chicks

Anytime you are dealing with people who don't know what they are doing you will end up with dead things. TSC I think needs to step up to the plate when it comes to teaching their employees about what few animals they carry during the spring of the year. Usually when it comes to not living things...

Tractor Supply Employee Knowledge About Chicks

That's what I did last year and I got 6 healthy baby chicks that all survived into adulthood expect 1 hen that got kill by a dog and 1 Roo...

Tractor Supply Employee Knowledge About Chicks

Quote: I went and got some baby chicks yesterday at TSC. Same thing happened to me. "Straight-run pullets." You would think the managers and people above them would want their employees to know a little about the products they sell. (same thing for Walmart too. I worked there for less than a...
