    What combination do you use for that? I'm still not experienced enough with the chicken genetics to attempt this. Is it blue x Mille Fleurs?

    Sure thing! I'm not interested in show quality, since I find that they ask for too many extremes in a lot of cases (or dubbing the comb, which I'm against personally) but I'd love to follow along for the genetics info!

    I need to really start studying chicken genetics. Didn't know that's how you got Red Pyle! I'll most certainly be posting pics when I get them! Yes, they have good birds and a good reputation, and their prices aren't too bad. Higher than the large commercial hatcheries in the States though.

    Getting Porcelain and Red Pyle this year. I'd ordered Mille Fleurs, but the eggs weren't hatching so went with the Porcelain as a second choice. Getting them from a 'local' (2 hours away) hatchery, Performance Poultry. They have a good reputation. Difficult to find them in this area.
