    Our two-week-old OEGB probably is a cockerel right? I think this black on his chest is unmistakable. Also, the month old OEGB pullet next to him has no claws on one foot, and only two on the other. Just slow to arrive do you think?

    Thanks, some had dark eye stripes when they were born. Some of the combs came in later than others. Their tails look different too, some have a U shape with longer feathers at the end, while a few have a V shape like the definitive hen's tail. I am in denial I think. I have searched and...

    Did you raise these from chicks? If so, did your hens have combs at about a month old? In my avatar we have seven out of eight with combs, one with a small tan comb. The others vary in color from red to salmon. Help! We think we have seven out of eight roosters
