Is this a bantam or standard??? I had another salmon faverolle hatch while I was at work but it looks allot smaller then the others. Could I have gotten a bantam egg mixed in with my standards? Or is he just a runt?

Those chickies are lovely. Congrats! I forgot are those LF (Standard sized) or Bantam Favs?
Standards, they are smaller then the mixed breeds that hatched with them but they are standards. I have 7 now, another hatched over night.
UPDATE, 6 favs, 7 mixed, including 1 turkin. There are 12 eggs left in the bator. It really stinks! But I still hear peeping. Is that just from where the others hatched?
WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!! 11 so far! I think I have 3 faverelles!!!!!!! I had 13 fav eggs I bought and 13 mixed home flock, the first 8 to hatch were all the mixed, but now it looks like the favs are making an entrance!

fingers crossed. The egg that had piped before lockdown is peeping. There maybe hope yet. This is my second attempt at hatching, first try Igot 2 out of 18 but I learned alot and got my hydrometer calibrated. So hard to go to work with peeping at home.
Lock down today. BUT when I took the eggs from the turner and placed them on the wire I noticed 2 pips. But no signs of life. What does this mean? why would they pip early and is the whole batch doomed??? I have been very good about leaving the bator alone and doing a pretty much dry incubation.
I just started the bator with 13 favs (purchased) and 13 mixed (home flock) eggs. High hopes for some favs! I don'tknow if any of the mixed are fertile, I saved the largest eggs for about a week to put in. I think they are from my 2 langshan hens but I have never seen my roo pay them any...
