Also, depending on how you are going to design your coop, you could sound-proof the coop with straw. It can't (shouldn't) cut off good air flow, but it could quiet down the sound. My husband says I shoot better than he does too! That is so funny because I won't go out shooting with him anymore. His friends stink (really, they smell bad on the weekends). We have chickens too!!! Tucson is awesome!- kannm
