LOL! Unfortunately, all birds have one thing in common - they either have a partner or they attach to a person. I see you said parakeetSSSSSSS. Birds need another of their kind or they will choose one of you. It is the way it is.

D E E P breath!!! Give a while. And I hope you know that if you dont get another duckling to go with it, the danged thing is going to attach to a member of your family and follow it around and beg for attention mercilessly. I am serious!

I can only her bill and some yellow feathers. she is still peeping to my voice so she is still with us. Thank the Lord.
Ok, the duckling can breath. It is uncomfortable, but not in danger. Let it finish. Do not remove anymore shell for a while now. It is still absorbing the yolk...

Ok it is still i nthe shell, leave it alone. It is still absorbing the yolk and removing the shell will make it bleed out. Now is the time for patience, you can get the membrane off later.
Ok, take a washcloth and soak it with warm water and wrap it around the duckling. VERY slowly and VERY little at a time, peel it off. Is the duckling all the way out of the egg and just wrapped?
