Kathy, I am driving by Nevada TWICE, once on the 7th and then on the 8th.

I hope I didn't give the impression that I was interested in breeding my lavs. I only have a few and they are eye candy only..... and egg factories. I failed biology miserably and have no interest in producing chicks with 3 eyes and plaid feathering.
Cetawin - Yes she is a very sweet girl. As a matter of fact, 3 of the 4 are very touchy/feely. The big girl has never taken to being held or petted, but the other 3 come a runnin' when momma calls.... or when they see that I have treats. Also, they are all really turning into some round little...
Does anybody have any clue as why there is darker color on my Lavender pullet in that last pic? She does have a few light colored feathers on her wings, but she is definitely a darker shade than the rest of them.

Well, they all have black legs, and most have black beaks. I guess as far as sexing them goes, I'll take them out somewhere and just watch to see which restroom they use.
