    I say get a black cock, you can breed the split boys back to the lavender hens. You can also cross the black split×black split and improve feather quality and type. Much better than getting lav×lav in my opinion.

    Ya, OE & EE or olive egger & easter egger are both mix breeds. I get that but I wonder if the lav will remain true and make a Lavender Olive or Easter Egger. :D Yup I'm pretty sure it might be possible almost any breed can be lav! Also my buff orp isn't mean, just not sit on your lap...

    If you breed lav orp to your Am you'll just be getting mixbreeds unless you keep breeding back to lav am you'll eventually get more lav am. If you breed lav orp× lav am you can breed back to english black for english lav orps. But it'd be better to get lav orp×eng black orp for that. Also lav...
