Flies are terrible this year. We keep our coops extremely clean, use DE and now adding Sweet PDZ but still quite a few flies. I, too, bought the stinking fly traps. They work pretty well, but geez they do stink!! I'm going to add some fly strips high up in the coops (silkies don't fly )...
