Going strictly by what I was told- most frizzles are cochins with the frizzle gene. Different hatcheries sell different breeds with the frizzle gene, but I *think* if you dont specify a particular breed, they usually send a frizzled cochin. Just my experience, not an absolute. ETA- just looked...
