About cutting the whole head off, why do I find this so complicated? I kind of get where to cut.. but I almost never get it on the first try. I always end up on a vertebra. Oh, sorry for that story with your roo! :( They are tough, those guys! I had a pretty old meat bird that I had to cull 2 weeks ago. It was my first time with what I'd call a rooster (he is 4-5 months old). Also, I got him at 4 weeks old, he doesn't like me AT ALL. Anyway, I put that big guy...- Sabz
