Oh and you can order small bags of DE online at the poultry supply houses. It is expensive, but you won't believe how little it takes, especially if you use a flour sifter to conserve.- ChickensAreSweet

Well, I have a bag of Sweet PDZ- it was $16, so cheaper than DE. I use it in my shed coop with my older girls by sprinkling it around just like I do DE on the pine shavings deep litter.
