I would definitely say 5 week range. Yours appears to be about a little younger than mine, by a week or less. Mine is just 6 weeks old today.

I do have an issue, tho. I know that being from a hatchery, the quality will suffer. Are white face spots explainable by that?

I have been trying to google pictures of black polish birds, especially chicks, and I just can't come up with anything substantial. I have heard of them tho. He DOES appear to have muffs/beard, which lends more to a crev.

My little mystery bird is 2 weeks now. His(/her) crest is now a definite. The legs are darkening. It looks to me like it will have muffs. Any thoughts?
