No, we didn't loose the house, but it was so hot on the north side, nearest the fire, that all the siding melted and is just hanging there.

We were so BLESSED, we have...
Today I said good-bye to my Flower chickens and a few mutts.
Sunday night we had a terrible storm, power went out and my husband went to the pole barn to start the generator, we resumed watching our tv programs, he in the living room and me in the kitchen when power flickered. a few minutes...
I just read the Swedish Flower chicken review, 93% +. One comment says that some of the roosters get aggressive. Been there, done that. I'm thinking what if I choose to keep 2 roosters out of this batch so they are more focused on each other, would they be less aggressive to wards me, and...
GR is a nice big town. I liked it when there. Had to take my hubby there for surgery @ Butterworth and he was in for about 4 days. I browsed all the halls looking at all the artwork, it's fabulous. Then one day I headed out and toward town a bit and found a little antique store to look thru...
aww shucks! thanks you guys. I just believe in a higher power and I know HE sees all.
I believe I made my buyer very happy, she left as a friend and promised she'd stop by with pics in the future. She was smiling all the way.
Don't know if I'll hear from the lady I bought from, but that's...
well, I hope I finally made good on the Flowers I sold, I got ahold of the girl and she came over and picked out one of the gray pullets she had originally liked anyways and I gave her the barred cockerel as well. So rid of the mutt boy, a cute but mutt pullet and one pair of Swedish Flower...
Well, she never showed up or called me back. She must be thoroughly disgusted with me and I don't blame her.
I gathered up the 2 gray hens and sat in a lawn-chair in my driveway hoping she'd stop again on her way home from work and I'd give her her pick of getting her money back, or taking...
jeeze, you guys are too nice to set here and keep looking at my junk pictures.
I went outside and looked at the white pullet closer and she DOES have the slightest of specks of color on her::::but looking closer her co is coming in like rose combs, so I'm sure she is father by my mutt roo...
If the lady I sold Cindy to wants a different bird should I give her one?? Clearly she's not a flower hen. Should I take Cindy back so there isn't a possibility of someone breeding her and saying her chicks are pure??
I really just got the eggs to add some hens to my laying flock, and have...
my Mutt rooster is white, his mother was a Leghorn and his daddy was a Dominique. But he didn't father these eggs. All the eggs I bought in Sanford were very light in color, mine are definately darker and I penciled on them BSL and BR. The SFH eggs were also larger in size than any of mine.
Heres some photos that are on the memory stick. Above is the little crested male I sold with a pullet behind him.
Above, one of the dark pullets, this was before I put colored zip tie bands on them to tell them apart.
