    It is hard to tell without a side by side shot. I would keep both and cross the crested with non-crested and vice-versa.

    I'm new to sfh too. My goals for selecting males is the most massive chest and best weight. My goals for selecting females is the most egg production using Bee's method of vent inspection. Now my most colorful roo happens to be my most massive lucky me (so far).
