    I believe it is when they have just started laying or have just started back laying. I get these sometimes to from my older layers and younger layers.

    I do use the dry incubation method and it still isn't working. Could the shells be to tough? These are from a young hen not even a year old I don't think.

    Can anyone help me out with my question? My SFH hatching eggs from my own stock will be fully developed in the egg and just won't hatch! All other eggs will hatch except theirs! Can anyone tell me why this is so?

    Lol, this is when it snowed here in NC. I will try to get better pictures this week, my SFH hen is setting on eggs and the rooster couldn't stand being a lone so I put him with some hens until he can get back with his. :D

    Hi! I would love to join this thread if that is okay. I have a pair of Swedish Flower Hens and the hen has just started laying this week!! I can't wait to start incubating the eggs!!!!
