His ancestors (incl. his father) didn't like anything Polish or Catholic. He was in a good Bay City Polish Polka band. Love that town, btw! Poles, Irish, Mexicans, Italians and Germans! Everyday's a party!
My family is very Polish-American, although there are a few Ukes and Cyganies (Ukrainians and Gypsies) in the family tree. I grew up on polka music.
