    I like the first one...it's more formal. The second one looks a bit night club-ish. It may also bring more attention to the area you're not wanting to accentuate.

    I'm more than blessed up top AND bottom, but I earnestly believe that halter-styled dresses are good for everyone. A-line might be a good idea also to accentuate your upper instead of lower. Just depends on what you're comfortable wearing. You gotta post photos!!! Something like this...

    I agree with the shorter dress. Mid-calf at the longest. Check the clearance racks first (my favorite place in the store!) Don't go "too" short so that it's night-club scene instead of "formal."

    Get a black cocktail dress for about $50 at JCPenney. OR...if you have a Burlington Coat Factory near you (OMG. I could live in that store!!!) Also try: Craigslist Bridal stores (oftentimes have prom dresses, bridesmaid dresses, etc. for sale) Goodwill Consignment stores
