It is a shame that people would waste their time to do that. I can say with confidence that I know your eggs were brought over legally. I have been checked before - no biggie - as long as you have your paperwork in line - just make them a copy and off they go. I do appreciate them...

That is correct. Typically it is a cull. But if you use that roo as a breeder with some black hens you will have some really nice black hen offspring.

Nice looking roo! Keep in mind that if he shows any signs of being home sick - you have the address.. BTW - the large fowls (choc, cuckoo, etc) are looking good and coming on strong.

I have been pretty busy here - lots of personal items going on at the home front ...the next month will be tough....keep us in your prayers. I have been reading and here is a suggestion that I used for the heat. When I built my pen I dug a hole and placed cider blocks half buried and then...

You will need to cross to black to keep the deep rich chocolate color - if you breed Choc x Choc and Choc x Choc and Choc x Choc .... over time the Choc will lighten.

Yep APHIS is crazy on their stuff.... I think I mentioned that in an email when we first discussed it. That is why bringing in and doing cold storage and dealing with my Atlanta connections is so nice!

I suspect it is inbreeding a little and environment change a little.... I did have an issue way back. But now I have 4 lines of Bantam Chocs... aside from the 2 lines of LF Chocs - that we will release in the Fall. :) :) We lose very little bantam chocs now. Thanks, Richard
