I had maybe 30 chicks hatch this last spring and three of those were Brahma x Sumatra. They were my only blue colored chicks. Unfortunately I think it was that color that got them taken out by predators
Very impressed with this breed so far. My rooster fought a hawk today to protect his hens. 4 months free-ranging with zero fatalities. Active and intelligent breed
