I have found that most leg bands are sized in the 1/16 of an inch. So a size 9 leg band is 9/16 inch across or diameter. if you have a set of tools find a open end wrench that fits a bit loose on your birds leg, that will be the size you need. I hope that this helps you somewhat. Scott- scottcaddy

Are all of your coops the same as you were building back in Jan. for your Pekins? I build all of mine tall enough to walk in, but then I keep atleast 4-6 hens and a Cock or two in each one with about a 8 foot covered run.
