    Me too. That's why I was thinking about switching companys to a closer to home job. Gulfspan may be the way to go. At least with a shut down I have time off at home after so long instead of just staying gone.

    I did just get 2 large boxes one fits mostly in the other. Sticks up an inch but I have straps and they have been throwing away ENORMOUS amounts of big boxes with nice 1x6's 11'6'' to make me a couple of chicken tractors. 1 for the big Cornish 1 for the Bantam breeders and leave my others here...

    I checked my wires at the charger. Within 2 ft. It works great if I unhook the long run and it max's out the tester on just my little pen then switch to or add the other section and It doesn't have a lower output. Just none at all.

    Tell me if I'm wrong but some of those ground out easier than the lesser output or low impedence chargers. I like the low impedence so If I'm not home enough to weed eat around the fence in time it still works.

    I'm guessing it's grounded somewhere. The DW to be hooked the gate (heading to the 1acre) on a the cattle panel gate the real gate and it sparked. But I Looked EVERY WHERE for a short, so I don't know.

    Wow. I like the Aussie and general overkill on anything holding my animals. I thought that a 10 ml fence charger would cover a 1 acre with less than 1 ml of heavy gauge fence.

    I tried that with a ground wire in between and a barb wire above that for the horses in there. They learned run and you don't get shocked. Also had it on the 5 strand barb with a hot right under the bottom wire about 5 or 6 inches hi then a heavy gauge ground and another hot and another hot...
