"Indian game" would not fly around here.. It would have to be " First Nations game" ...... "Indian" in my neighbourhood is not a good word to use with four bands within 10km. ;) Cornish is what I am running with.
I agree!! It has been so hard to find Cornish around here... I heard though through the grapevine that the season was bad for hatches this year all around. The 2011 season was much better but it could be isolated to a few breeders.
I'm definitely finding them the pitbulls of chicken! They like to run with my game hens. I'm going to blue kote my polish that are WCB.. Or build yet again another coop.
Interesting as they were beating up on my polish pretty bad.. And a frizzle. I did end up separating them tonight into a different pen. It wasn't just them but my Banty white rock that rules the roost.
I am going to be order some from a different breeder.. He has white, blue, spangled, blue laced red and and dark. Hmm... I think I will order a variety? Also maybe a few Malay if I will be flying them over... LOL I can get young stock or straight run chicks...
Thanks, They were just wormed too. Hopefully I can get my hands on a few more from the breeder. Even if it is a $200 ferry ride.. Well I might as well fly them then. :p
Here is the chunky little pullet running by. My camera is out of batteries so you get lame IPad pics.. And the coop was already in shade. Oh well you get the idea. I will try to get some better pics tomorrow.
