Thought I would post a picture of my SL Cornish bantam project that I've been working on for 4 years now. This pullet is 20 weeks old, 7/8 cornish and 1/8 SL Wyandotte.I think in 3 or 4 more generations I might be there.Chicks are definitely NOT uniform yet, but I have about half a dozen pullets...
I will check him more closely on saturday when I'm actually home in the daylight. I have had several with the brassiness, but I have not seen it on him or on any of the females I've raised.
Thats actually shadows, I don't see the red in real life. But, the two birds in the avatar have single laced dark cornish in them. The variety of colors I have gotten is pretty astounding. Everything from single laced dark to smutty columbian to black to SL
Thought I would post a picture of my Silver Laced Cornish Bantam project. This cockerel is 4th generation, out of the birds in my avatar. I'm not totally happy with him, still lots of work to do, but definitely coming along. I hope to have some really nice birds in another 4 generations!
To the best of my knowledge, he doesn't sell culls or eggs, I don't either, I eat my culls, and frankly, they are delicious! Spoiled me from store bought birds forever. This time of the year it is possible to find good quality mature birds if you are willing to pay for them and have them...
This is a blue Cornish cock bird I got from Jesus. He has very nice birds. I have three splash pullets out of this guy that I'll be breeding to a black male, and three black pullets that I'll breed to a splash cockerel out of this guy. Theoretically, all the chicks should be blue.

I'd like to see a front view and maybe one over his back. he does look kind of long and leggy, but does he have width? I have spangleds that are short, but narrow. How old is he?
They are worth every penny. His bloodlines go back to some of the very best cornsih bantams ever bred. I just happen to live fairly close to him and tehre are four or five cornish bantam breeders with really high end stock within 50 miles. Thats unusual but good for me!
Hello:
I am trying to get back into chickens after a 30 year hiatus. I used to raise both Large Fowl and Bantam cornish and I'm trying to get some foundation stock to start again after recently purchasing a small farm. I have some WLR eggs coming from a good breeder and a few hatchery chicks...
