thanks. I never heard about that ill now. So this means that my silkie who has a low crow and my lest talkative buff orp hen would have close to silent babies?
Thank god I am not the only one. I got rid of the rooster. I kept one who crows alot but its so low. I think keeping him in the dark is the only way but he will still do it.
