You may laugh but currently my chickens are laying in these : http://www.walmart.com/ip/Whitmor-6581-2711-ESPR-Espresso-Woven-Shelf-Basket/19869304 I filled the bottom with dirt to make them heavy added pine chips to the top. Used a old bookcase flipped it on it's side and put these on top :)- ericalynne2005
