    Thank you for posting a pic, that is helpful. Here is a recent pic of my 3 Choc. Orpingtons at around 20 weeks. You can see that the middle one still hasn't feathered up quite right. Also, he can't fly because his feathers came in crooked. And here is a close up of just him:

    They're still growing, but the one cockerel is still WAY behind in feathering up. However, he seems to be the one who is lightest in color. The other 2 (cockerel and pullet) who have feathered nicely still look very, very dark in color, not really black, but also not brown. I have hopes that...
