    Normally hatch is 50/50 with some variance. So I would hatch 10 eggs. Sorry we have dark brown egg layers but we are in East TN

    One of the small coops I built. Currently housing 4 of our Jubilees, If they would use the roosts it would fit them better. They get a new coop this spring, this was only temporary as we had a water problem in their condo.

    $20 for a POL pullet is a good price, we get 25-30 for barnyard mixes and $30 and up for our other birds. Yes chicks are hogs, teens are more of a hog. I agree Donna it cost a small fortune to raise birds. We go through 12-15 bags of feed most weeks.
