I was wondering if anyone has any white leghorns that are laying or maybe some hatching eggs. I friend of mine is looking for some. Would rather have some that are laying or about to start but will do the hatching eggs if I cant find any layers. Im in the southern mid TN area. Thanks for any help!!

I'll try too look more closely tomrrw. Thght it was pullet til today whn they were playin and started to fight. Dont think a pullet will do tht. Right? He hasnt started crowing but the buff roo has for over a week now.

Hoping yall could give me an opinion about this 9 week old chick. I have black austrolorp hens tht r laying and the two i was wanting to move n thr wth thm are buff orps. Wht if i put my 3 week old chicks n thr wth thm instead of moving the older ones n wth my laying hens? Would tht b better?

I also have some 3 week old chicks for sale. They are crossed between a Dominique roo and black austrolorp hens. Im asking $5 for the hens and $3 for the roosters. Im located in collinwood,tn.

I had 25 outta the 35 tht made it to lockdown hatch. I jus candled the othr 10 and didnt see any movement so i turned off my bator. Not sure wht happend but i culd tell they were developed and could see some veins but no movement. Im still tickled wth my hatch since this is only my second one.

So i jus candle and see which one have air cells at the bottom? Wuld styrooam or paper egg cartons work? As long as i cut part of the bottom outta thm?

Anyone ever put their eggs in egg cartons at lockdown to hatch in? im debating doing this and have read good and bad on it. I have them on a turner now but usually jus lay them in the bator during lockdown. Hope someone can fill me in on this a little.
